Huawei Pura 70 Ultra Review: A Powerful New Flagship

Huawei officially unveiled its newest flagship smartphone, the Pura 70 Ultra, at an event last week. Boasting top-of-the-line specs and features, this device looks to cement Huawei’s position in the premium Android market.

Design

The Pura 70 Ultra features a beautiful 6.8-inch OLED display with minimal bezels and a peak brightness of 2500 nits. It has a glass front and aluminum frame construction with an eco-friendly leather back. At 162.6 x 75.1 x 8.4mm and 226g, it’s a nice size without feeling too large. The phone also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Camera

The triple rear camera system is undoubtedly the star of the show. It consists of a flagship 50MP main camera with a huge 1-inch sensor, 5x optical zoom 50MP telephoto lens, and 40MP ultrawide. Pricing and Availability

The Huawei Pura 70 Ultra is expected to retail for around €1300 when it launches on April 29th. For the specifications and feature set, this seems like a very reasonable asking price.
